POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a house where a burglary suspect refused to surrender on Thursday in Pompano Beach.
Dispatch deployed members of the BSO SWAT team to a house along Northeast 31 Court, near 15 Avenue. An armored rescue vehicle responded and police cars closed access to the area.

According to BSO, the suspect wanted in connection with several burglaries managed to escape and deputies were canvassing the area.
