Teen, 16, has been missing for over a month, Miami-Dade police say

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police asked for the public’s help on Thursday in locating a 16-year-old girl from northwest Miami-Dade who they said has been missing for over a month.

According to Miami-Dade detectives, Sindi Pena Sandoval was last seen on Aug. 9 near the 1200 block of Northwest 103rd Lane.

Sandoval is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants and white and pink sneakers, police said.
