Miami-Dade police said Dent threatened the victim, telling him, “I would put a bullet in you right now,” “You gonna die in front of everybody” and “I’ll kill you on this bus.”

According to the report, the two got into another argument as the victim was exiting the bus in the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and 79th Street.

Police said the argument escalated on the sidewalk when Dent pulled out a knife, kicked the victim and then stabbed him in the stomach.

According to the report, Dent was taken into custody the following day for an unrelated incident, but as of Friday, is facing charges in connection with the stabbing.

As of Monday afternoon, Dent was being held at the Miami-Dade County Pre-Trial Detention Center on an attempted murder charge, as well as other unrelated charges. His bond had not yet been set.
