Deputies search for man with dementia who was last seen in North Lauderdale

NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help Friday in locating a 55-year-old man who they said was missing and considered to be endangered.

According to detectives, Jeffrey Lawson was last seen around 10 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Colley Way in North Lauderdale.

Lawson’s family told investigators that he suffers from dementia and takes medication.

Authorities said Lawson is about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes and was last seen wearing a grey shirt, green or black shorts and green sneakers, according to BSO.
