Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million sold in Florida

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. – A winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million was sold at a convenience store in Florida on Tuesday.

The Florida Lottery revealed that a quick-pick ticket sold at Big Boss Stores in DeFuniak Springs matched all five regular numbers in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing and earned a lucky shopper $1 million.

The winning numbers for Friday’s drawing were 1,2,16,26,66, and a Mega Ball of 6

The winner of Tuesday’s $800 million jackpot bought their ticket at the Murphy USA in Sugar Land, Texas, according to Lottery officials.

Mega Millions players have a 1 in 302.6 million chance of taking home the top prize, the Lottery said.

The winner will have 180 days to claim his or her prize before the ticket expires.

The $800 million prize has a cash option of $404.2 million.
