Pickup truck rolls over after crashing into northeast Miami-Dade home

No hospital transports reported

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A driver was involved in a rollover accident Friday morning after authorities said he crashed a pickup truck into the side of a house in northeast Miami-Dade.

It happened near the intersection of Northeast Sixth Street and Northeast 157th Terrace, near the Golden Glades area.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirmed the single-vehicle crash occurred when a man lost control, causing the pickup truck to roll over after crashing into the home.

The man sustained minor head lacerations but did not require transportation to the hospital, according to Miami-Dade police.

Sky 10 flew over the scene around 10:55 a.m. as a white pickup truck was being loaded onto a tow truck. The crash appeared to have left a large hole in one side of the house and damaged a nearby fence.

The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.

No other information about the crash has been released at this time.
