Man taken to hospital after being stabbed at West Little River bus stop

Police are investigating after they said a man was stabbed at a bus stop near West Little River. (WPLG)

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are investigating a stabbing that they say left one man hurt in the county’s West Little River area on Friday afternoon.

An argument that occurred between two men at a bus stop near the intersection of Northwest 27th Avenue and Northwest 79th Street escalated into a fight, leaving one man with a stab wound to the abdomen, according to police.

Police said the man, who hasn’t been publicly identified, was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition but has been uncooperative with the investigation.

Police have not disclosed the suspect or victim’s age or identity and a motive for the stabbing remains unclear at the time.

A Local 10 News crew was at the scene where detectives were canvassing the area and questioning individuals who may have witnessed the incident.
