PLANTATION, Fla. – A winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Publix in Broward on Friday.

The Florida Lottery revealed that a ticket sold at the Publix store located at 1121 S. University Drive in Plantation matched all five regular numbers in Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing and earned a lucky shopper $1 million.

The winning numbers for Friday’s drawing were: 10-17-20-24-54. The Mega Ball is 8 and the Megaplier is 4x.

The winning ticket missed the $627 million jackpot when it did not hit the Mega Ball. That means the top prize will climb once again.

According to Lottery officials, when Tuesday night’s drawing rolls around, the jackpot will have risen to $681 million.

Mega Millions players have a 1 in 302.6 million chance of taking home the top prize, the Lottery said.

The winner will have 180 days to claim his or her prize before the ticket expires.
