The exact terms of his new contract have not been disclosed.

Under McDaniel, the Dolphins will look to make the playoffs for a third consecutive season.

In 2023, Miami had the top-ranked offense in the NFL for the first time since 1994.

McDaniel, who is the 10th youngest coach in the NFL at 40 years old, is aiming to break the Dolphins playoff drought that dates back to 2000.
