Cops want to bust Biscayne Boulevard business bandit

MIAMI – Police in Miami-Dade County are searching for a suspect caught on camera raiding the cash box of a local business.

Officers believe it’s the same person who has been robbing stores along Biscayne Boulevard.

The latest incident happened along Biscayne and Northeast 137th Street, while there were additional break-ins reported further north along Biscayne last week.

4 p.m, report:

According to Miami police, each incident appears to have the same motive, with the culprit shattering the glass on the front doors or windows and stealing cash.

Between Miami and North Miami Beach police, there are around a dozen cases, all occurring between February and now, that they are investigating. They believe the same suspect could be behind these cases.

Meanwhile, business owners are growing frustrated as police work to catch the crook.

In fact, several business owners reached out to Local 10 News after seeing our initial report to say they believe the same thing happened to their stores.
