MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A 30-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after he threatened a Miami-Dade Police Department Special Victims Bureau detective who is investigating an ongoing sexual assault case, authorities said.

According to his arrest report, Alrick Christian, of Miami, called Detective Kayla Patino around 1:30 p.m. and began yelling at her, saying “Your f***ing problem is with me now. I’m coming for you!”

Police said Patino notified her supervisor about the call and said she was in fear of the ability for Christian to carry out the threats against her due to previous interactions she had with him in which he was aggressive over the phone and in person.

According to the report, Christian called the Special Victims Bureau again moments later and spoke to Patino’s supervisor who informed him that any threats made to law enforcement would not be tolerated.

Christian then told the supervisor, according to the report, “Yeah, I’m coming for her!”

The arrest report does not state how Christian is tied to the sexual assault case.

He was arrested on a charge of making a threat against a public servant.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Christian was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $1,000 bond.
