CUTLER BAY, Fla. – A man was arrested Thursday after authorities said he exposed his penis to a woman and then spat on a Miami-Dade police officer after being arrested in Cutler Bay.
Miami-Dade police said officers were dispatched to a report of indecent exposure involving a man near the 18400 block of South Dixie Highway.

Upon arrival, police said the victim told them 32-year-old Ivan Contreras, who is homeless, approached her vehicle requesting money and began “knocking aggressively” on her driver’s side window.
When the victim stated she did not have any money, investigators said Contreras pulled down his pants and “exposed himself in a vulgar and indecent manner.”
The victim reported seeing the Contreras’ genitals and provided a description of his identity, which police said led to his arrest.
Detectives said after completing his arrest form, Contreras, while in the back of the vehicle, turned and intentionally spat on the right side officer’s face.
Contreras was then transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without further incident, police said.
Contreras’ arrest report states he is facing one count each of indecent exposure and battery of a law enforcement officer.
As of Friday, he is being held at TGK on a $5,500 bond and was ordered to stay away from the victim.
