MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A mother and her son were injured Thursday morning after being struck by a vehicle in northeast Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.
According to Miami-Dade police Detective Argemis “AC” Colome, the hit-and-run crash occurred in the area of Northeast 191st Street and Seventh Avenue.

Colome said the SUV that struck the victims was being driven by a person who appeared “to be wearing some sort of delivery-type vest.”
He said the mother and son were transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
No other details were immediately released.
