Police said officers first spoke with a woman who said she had just arrived home from picking up food at a local restaurant when she heard a loud argument coming from outside.

She then went outside and found the suspect, Juan Bautista Bonilla, arguing with another man she knows, police said.

According to an arrest report, the woman noticed that the victim appeared to be “scared and nervous,” and asked her what was wrong.

Police said the victim then told her that Bautista Bonilla had rubbed her chest and vagina over her clothing and had kissed her twice on the lips.

According to the report, the woman told the other man to separate himself from Bautista Bonilla, at which time he called 911.

Police said the man told officers that he witnessed Bautista Bonilla’s actions against the victim as he was arriving to the home in his vehicle and proceeded to confront him.

According to the report, Bautista Bonilla invoked his right to an attorney when being questioned by police.

He was arrested on a charge of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 12.

As of Monday afternoon, Bautista Bonilla was being held at the Metrowest Detention Center without bond.
