DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – A man posing as an Amazon delivery driver was recently caught on a Ring camera at home in Parkland, but instead of delivering a package, he was committing a crime, authorities confirmed.
Wearing an Amazon vest and carrying a box and cellphone, the suspect, who Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies identified Thursday as 26-year-old Stanley Sabino Pimentel, appeared to be making a delivery at the home of Latoya Bellamy-Lockhart, who they said lives in the area.

However, BSO’s Burglary Apprehension Team quickly intervened, arresting the fake delivery man and recovering a stolen iPhone 15 Pro from his car, according to investigators.
On Tuesday, detectives said they located Pimentel’s car, a 2021 blue Honda Accord, which had been linked to a recent residential burglary in Parkland.
Authorities said they surveilled the vehicle and observed Pimentel as he drove into a Deerfield Beach community, parked in front of Bellamy-Lockhart’s home, exited the vehicle dressed as an Amazon worker and proceeded to carry out the crime, they said.
Jail records show Pimentel is facing one count each of occupied residential burglary, grand theft, possession of a firearm during the commission of a second-degree felony and tag obstruction. Authorities said they’re also investigating Pimentel in connection with other similar crimes in Broward County.
To help prevent package theft, investigators recommend several precautions, such as having items delivered to your office, scheduling deliveries for times when you’ll be home, using secure drop-off sites or asking a neighbor to retrieve your packages if you’re away.
Anyone with information on the case is urged to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
