PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A video shows a waterspout forming offshore Wednesday near Wilton Manors.
SKY 10 recorded the video shortly before 7 a.m. since the air is thick with a high 85% humidity. There is also a heat advisory in effect in South Florida.
The heat index could reach up to 113 degrees in some areas. The high pressure will help to push afternoon storms inland.
Tropical Storm Ernesto caused heavy rain and gusty winds on Wednesday morning in Puerto Rico. The storm is forecast to strengthen into a major hurricane while approaching Bermuda.
