Angry after being kicked out, a Florida driver crashed the cab of a semi-truck into the Emperor’s Gentlemen’s Club Tampa — killing a man and injuring two others on Tuesday.

According to the Tampa Police Department, the DUI crash was shortly before 4:20 a.m., at 5718 E. Adamo Drive, near the Tampa Bay Steel Corporation.

“This is an unbelievably tragic and completely avoidable incident,”  Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw said in a statement.

The 25-year-old driver of the truck waited about 30 minutes with his eye on the strip club’s main door to target the man he had been arguing with inside, police said.

Maj. Patrick Messmer said none of the three patrons he struck were his intended target.
