MIAMI – A detective reported that a violent gang was operating out of a public park near schools, athletic areas, and a commissioner’s office in Miami’s Liberty City.
There was a search after a girl told police a duo wearing jackets pointed guns at her on April 27, while at Charles Hadley Park, at 1350 NW 50 St.

An undercover police officer reported Leondre Walker was a suspect, there was a foot chase, and Walker reached into his waistband, retrieved a Taurus G2C with an extended magazine, and tossed it.
According to an arrest warrant, the Taurus G2C had a live round in the chamber and the extended magazine had 21 live rounds. Walker, 20, was not a stranger to law enforcement.
The undercover detective described Walker as a “documented” gang member. Last year, he made headlines after a pursuit in a stolen Jeep ended with a crash on Aug. 31 in Broward County. The case was later dropped.
When police officers arrested Walker on April 27 in Miami, they reported seizing Walker’s iPhone to search it after getting a warrant.
Detectives learned Walker was grieving the death of Jeremiah Rollers with a “MIAHWAY” tattoo on his arm and an iPhone screensaver photo of him holding a weapon. It had the “M4M” label, for “Murder 4 Miah.”
Miami-Dade prosecutors charged Walker with possession of a firearm by a delinquent, carrying a concealed firearm, and resisting an officer without violence to his person.
Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Milton Hirsch sentenced Walker on June 11 to a 12-month probation. According to the Florida Department of Correction, it was set to end on June 10, 2025.
While searching Walker’s cell phone, detectives reported finding a message with the stolen identification data of a man in Nevada, and another with the stolen ID data of a Miami Gardens man.
Miami-Dade County inmate records show correctional officers booked Walker shortly after 10:45 a.m., on Wednesday, at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
Walker was arrested on two counts of fraudulent use or possession of personal ID, one count of unlawful use of a communications divide, and two counts of unlawful possession of four or fewer identifications.
Miami undercover detectives who are members of the gang intelligence unit worked on the case with Miami-Dade Assistant State Attorney Jennifer Hernandez-Garcia, a member of the gang strike force.
The court set Walker’s bond review for 9:30 a.m., on Thursday, and the arraignment at 9 a.m., on Sept. 3. Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Zachary N. James was set to preside over the case.
