MIAMI – Newly released video is showing what happened the night rapper Travis Scott was arrested in Miami Beach.
He was accused of disorderly intoxication and trespassing.
In the video, Scott is heard telling officers he was outnumbered and afraid.
He would end up in handcuffs.
The new body camera video initially obtained by TMZ shows the back and forth between Scott and officers before he ended up arrested back in June.
Police officers were responding to a 911 call about a fight at the Miami Beach Marina when they came across the rapper.
Investigators said when they arrived, Scott — whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster — was involved in an argument with someone on a boat.
The police report says he smelled like alcohol and when asked if he’d been drinking, Scott replied: “It’s Miami.”
TMZ is reporting that the disorderly intoxication charge against Scott has been dropped.
