MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami Gardens police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning at a gas station.
According to Miami Gardens police, the shooting was reported at 4:21 a.m. in the 200 block of Northwest 195th Street.
Sky 10 was above the U Gas just after 6 a.m. as multiple Miami Gardens police vehicles remained at the scene.
Police confirmed that officers found a Black male victim at the scene who had been shot multiple times.
An employee working inside the gas station’s convenience store told Local 10′s Roy Ramos that the victim was pressure washing outside of the store when he was shot.
He was then airlifted by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a nearby hospital. His condition has not yet been released.
Police confirmed that the subjects involved in the shooting were seen leaving the area in a white sedan.
Local 10 was at the scene later in the morning as investigators placed evidence markers on the ground, took pictures and gathered evidence in and outside of the store that operates 24 hours a day.
No other details about the shooting were immediately released.
