The trooper took Franke, who had “red, bloodshot and glassy eyes,” to a patrol car, authorities said.
According to the report, Franke took the other trooper’s Taser and “attempted to use it,” leading the troopers to handcuff her.
Authorities said Franke refused field sobriety and breathalyzer tests.
She was taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on felony charges of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence, a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest without violence and two driving under the influence citations.
