Detective asks public for help with finding woman, 71, with dementia in Broward

TAMARAC, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help Friday with locating a 71-year-old Tamarac woman who was reported missing on Friday.

According to detectives, Bonita Toller was last seen at around 8:30 p.m. Thursday near the 5700 block of Rock Island Road in Tamarac.

According to her family, Toller suffers from dementia and takes medication. She also walks with a limp.

Investigators said Toller is approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.

She has gray hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a burgundy short-sleeved shirt with a turquoise undershirt and dark gray leggings, according to authorities.
