(Broward Crime Stoppers)

WILTON MANORS, Fla. – A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of a man who police say broke into at least two smoke shops in Wilton Manors this month.

Authorities said the man was caught on several cameras in and around Art Frenzie on the drive in Wilton Manors on July 19 at around 1:19 a.m.

Video shows the man pulling, stabbing and kicking the glass door at the art gallery and custom framing business early Friday, until he finally gets inside, but he wasn’t after the art.

Authorities confirmed the burglar stole approximately $4,860 worth of product from the business.

“I was just in shock because we’ve never had this happen,” Candice Rossi, of Drag on the Drive Hemp & Specialty Gifts, told Local 10 News in an exclusive interview Monday.

Rossi said once the man got into the gallery, he used a tool to smash the door that led to a second business inside. The man then quickly got to work.

“He had obviously been here before because he knew exactly where to go,” said Rossi. “He was just looking for pre-rolls. He went to exactly where the pre-rolls were and loaded up his bag.”

By the end of it, he made off with $8,000 worth of those papers, burglarizing two businesses.

According to Wilton Manors police, the thief was described as a young white or Latin male with brown hair, last seen wearing dark pants and a white and black Nike jacket. He was carrying a black and neon green backpack.

Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
