MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police arrested a 57-year-old man on three felony charges Wednesday after accusing him of raping a 6-year-old girl in 2022.
According to an arrest report, the victim, now 8, knew Olivio Ramos, a family friend, as her “tío” — “uncle” in Spanish.

Police said she disclosed to her mother that Ramos sexually assaulted her three times.
The report states that the assaults happened at Ramos’ home in the 1400 block of Southwest 129th Court in the Tamiami area of west Miami-Dade.
Miami-Dade police apprehended Ramos Wednesday and took him to the agency’s Special Victims Unit in Doral, where he denied the allegations, the report states.
Ramos was taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on three counts of sexual battery on a minor by an adult, where he was being held without bond as of Thursday afternoon.
