Miami-Dade County Public Schools earns an ‘A’ for 2024

District earns top marks for fifth consecutive year

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade Public Schools has earned top marks for the fifth year in a row, according to the Florida Department of Education.

MDCPS earned an “A” for the 2023-2024 school year and was ranked eighth among the state’s 67 districts, based on the number of total points earned toward the district grade.

The school performance grades for the 2023-2024 school year were released on Wednesday and are as follows:

  • Overall, 99 percent of M-DCPS schools received School Grades of A, B, or C in 2024:
  • 54 percent received grades of A
  • 28 percent received grades of B
  • 17 percent received grades of C
