PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Local 10 News anchor Nicole Perez and reporter Roy Ramos announced to viewers Thursday they are expecting their second child!
In a video shared on Instagram, the couple first revealed the news to their first child, Reese, saying, “Our family is growing. My husband Roy and I are having another baby.”
Perez said she announced the pregnancy earlier than with Reese because she is showing faster.
Perez said Reese is eagerly awaiting the arrival of his sibling.
She revealed that her family is expecting a girl, the first girl in her family.
“I have two boy cousins and two brothers, so this is the first baby girl to be spoiled by my mom,” she told Local 10 News anchor Calvin Hughes.
The couple shared their joy and anticipation for their growing family.
Ramos, who joined the Local 10 News team in 2018, is a South Florida native who grew up in Florida City.
Perez joined the Local 10 News team in July 2016. She was born and raised in Miami.
The couple married in 2017 after being together for five years.
