Miami-Dade police said officers responded to a call near the 29000 block of Southwest 149th Court after the victim reported receiving threatening messages from Castro via Instagram just after 5 p.m. on June 26.

Detectives said the victim provided screenshots of the messages, in which Castro stated, “I’ma be the one that takes your life away. They spray the first time. I’m not gonna spare you.”

In a subsequent message, Castro added, “No, I want your soul,” according to the report.

Investigators confirmed the Instagram account belonged to Castro, with a full-body picture of Castro as the profile image.

Police did not disclose the relationship between Castro and the victim in the arrest report.

Jail records show Castro remains at TGK Wednesday after being previously incarcerated for violating house arrest on an unrelated charge. His bond has not yet been determined.
