Deputies respond to reports of stabbing inside Pompano Beach gated community, find 1 dead, 1 injured

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Authorities in Broward County are investigating a stabbing incident.

It happened at approximately 5 p.m. along the 3300 block of Northwest 10th Avenue in Pompano Beach.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene after being notified of a stabbing.

The home they responded to is located inside the Madison Place gated community.

Upon arrival, deputies said they found two victims, both women. One had been stabbed and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The second victim was suffering from what deputies called “unknown injuries” and was pronounced dead at the scene, they said.

A third woman was taken into custody for questioning, according to deputies.
