Victim ‘blessed to wake up the next day’ after robbery, shooting outside Flanigan’s

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Police continue to search for the suspects who held up a pair of Flanigan’s customers at gunpoint earlier this week.

It happened in the early morning hours Tuesday outside the Flanigan’s in Miramar.

Two people were leaving the restaurant when they were robbed by someone with a gun.

5 p.m. report:

As the gunman made his getaway, the victim opened fire and the two exchanged gunfire.

One of the items the robber snatched was a gold chain that the victim said is worth around $20,000.

“You don’t expect this when you to go Flanigan’s,” said one of the victims, who asked not to be identified. “I’m blessed to wake up the next day.”

Police are still searching for the robber.
