NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Authorities in Broward County are investigating a shooting that occurred on Monday.
It happened at approximately 6:44 p.m. in the area of the 1000 block of Southwest 76th Avenue in North Lauderdale.
Investigators from the Broward Sheriff’s Office were observed placing several evidence markers on the ground at the scene.
Additionally, a BSO crime scene van responded to the shooting, along with several patrol cars.
The victim, a woman who has not been identified, was taken to Broward Health North.
Authorities have not provided any information about the health status of the victim.
Deputies have also not said whether they are seeking any suspects or persons of interest.
