Florida Panthers kick off annual summer reading tour at Broward County libraries

SUNRISE, Fla. – Fresh off their Stanley Cup victory, the Florida Panthers kicked off their annual summer reading tour on Thursday.

They partnered with several Broward County libraries for the fifth consecutive year.

Players and staff members, still enjoying their recent celebration, engaged children and families in various reading activities.

The Panthers’ summer reading events will continue throughout July and August, bringing excitement to local communities.

Full schedule is listed below:

  • Southwest Regional Library, July 11, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
  • Sunrise Dan Pearl Library, July 15, 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Alvin Sherman Library, July 24, 11 am - 1 p.m.
  • North Regional Library, July 27, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
  • West Regional Library, August 3, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

The team’s Panther Patrol will be on site with family-friendly games, giveaways, and appearances from Stanley C. Panther, according to NHL.com.

Fans can still pick up their Florida Panthers library card at any of the 37 Broward County Library locations while supplies last. Broward County residents can visit a location to get a free library card or replace their existing card with a new Panthers limited-edition card.
