CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Coral Gables police arrested a 47-year-old man early Wednesday morning they accused of being a peeping Tom.

Luis Donaldo Corado, of Cutler Bay, is suspected in at least three incidents, two at the same apartment, according to arrest reports.

According to police, the first case happened June 16 at an apartment building on Sidonia Avenue.

An arrest report states that surveillance video captured him walking down the hallway at around 1:20 a.m., grabbing a box, then walking to the parking lot to get outside the victim’s unit, “where he used a chair to climb up and peered into the apartment window without the victim’s knowledge or consent.”

He “lingered at the window for an extended period before leaving and returning a second time to repeat the same behavior,” police said.

Authorities would later put out a “be on the lookout” flyer.

The next incident happened July 3 just before 11:15 p.m. at an apartment on Antiquera Avenue, according to police.

“Surveillance footage shows Corado peeping into the apartment window without the victim’s knowledge or consent and looking into the apartment for an extended period,” an arrest report states.

Police said he came back just before 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

“The victim, lying on her bed and talking on the phone, received a notification from her outdoor cameras covering her bedroom and bathroom windows. The camera, activated by motion detection, showed Corado...peeking through her window,” an arrest report states. “The victim screamed and yelled that she was going to call the police.”

Crime suppression officers located and detained Corado on Tuesday night, just before midnight, and placed him under arrest early Wednesday morning.

He’s facing two counts of burglary of an occupied dwelling and three counts of voyeurism.

The Guatemalan national is also being held without bond on a warrant on a separate case for burglary of an unoccupied structure, petit theft and resisting an officer without violence. He also faces resisting arrest and drug charges in another separate case.
