Motorcyclist suffers ‘life-threatening injuries’ after crash in Broward

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A motorcyclist was injured during a crash with a vehicle on Wednesday in Broward County.

According to Carey Codd, a Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesman, deputies learned of the crash shortly before 6 a.m. and responded to East Copans Road and North Cypress Road in Pompano Beach.

Pompano Beach Fire Rescue personnel also responded to help the motorcyclist.

“Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital with possible life-threatening injuries,” Codd wrote in a statement.

BSO deputies with the traffic homicide unit were investigating the cause of the crash.
