HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Authorities rushed to the scene of a car accident in Broward County on Wednesday afternoon.
It happened in the area of Sheridan Street and 34th Avenue in Hollywood.
Sky 10 was over the scene at approximately 5:45 p.m.
A badly damaged vehicle could be seen surrounded by first responders.
It was behind a large box truck that appeared to have also been involved in the crash.
According to Hollywood Fire Rescue, one person had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital as a trauma alert.
Authorities have yet to provide any official information on the cause of the crash.
