Man pulled from Lauderdale Lakes pool, rushed to hospital

Authorities are investigating after they said a man was pulled from a pool in Lauderdale Lakes Monday morning. (WPLG)

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – A man in his 20s was rushed to a hospital Monday morning after being pulled from a pool in Lauderdale Lakes, authorities confirmed.

According to Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, the man was discovered in a pool after being unaccounted for for some time.

Sky 10 flew over a home near the 4200 block of Northwest 31st Terrace where police officers were investigating near the pool and around the home just before 11 a.m.

BSFR confirmed the man, who they believe is 27 or 28, went into cardiac arrest. Medics resuscitated the man and transported him to a local hospital for treatment.

No other details were immediately released.
