FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A man died after a shooting on Saturday morning in Fort Lauderdale’s Nurmi Isles.
According to Detective Ali Adamson, a spokeswoman for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, police officers found the man dead and arrested a gunman.
“This incident is domestic in nature,” Adamson wrote in a statement.
The calls for help were shortly after 10:45 a.m., along Nurmi Drive, north of East Las Olas Boulevard. Dispatch records show four fire rescue units responded.
“The investigation remains on-going,” Adamson wrote about an hour after the shooting.
