MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A Georgia man was arrested at Hard Rock Stadium over the weekend after Miami-Dade police accused him of selling fraudulent tickets to multiple patrons.
While working as a Homeland Security detail at the stadium, a Miami-Dade police detective received a call from stadium security about a man at the southeast gate of the stadium trying to gain entry with fake tickets on June 29 at around 8:30 p.m.

Police said a responding officer had initially been flagged down regarding a fight involving the suspect and a group of people, prompting a backup request.
After police arrived at the scene, at least six victims reported purchasing tickets between the prices of $130 to $300 from Octavius Lamar Dozier, 48, of College Park, Georgia, and his associates, only to find them to be fake at the ticket booth.
According to an arrest report, all six victims identified Dozier as the person who sold them the fake tickets.
Police said as they took Dozier into custody, he began to feel ill and was transported to Jackson North Medical Center for an evaluation.
After waiving his Miranda rights, Dozier claimed another individual nicknamed “Dolla” was the actual fraudster, but he admitted to being present during the transactions which led the victims to believe that he was the crook, the report stated.
According to police, Dozier told detectives he was “an acquaintance of Dolla, but denied being the one who defrauded the victims.”
Jail records show Dozier is facing six counts of organized scheme to defraud and count each of third-degree grand theft and fraudulent possession or creation of an ADM ticket.
As of Friday, he is being held on a $7,500 bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
Police have not identified Dolla and no other arrests have been made at this time. They also did not disclose what kind of tickets Dozier sold before he was arrested.
