Police arrest woman caught on camera pilfering North Miami Beach storage units

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Police have arrested the woman seen on surveillance video they believe stole from storage units inside North Miami Beach condo buildings.

North Miami Beach police say Toccora Monique James, 41, is the woman caught on camera accused of numerous high rise heists.

Local 10 News first reported on the video on Tuesday. James is seen punching random numbers into a building’s call box until she is eventually buzzed in.

She immediately heads for the storage room, and while she walks in empty-handed, she leaves with several bags full of items. This happened on multiple occasions.

Police said she was not acting alone, alleging she was working with a male accomplice.

But wait, there’s more: According to police, days after the storage heists, James used the same bag she stole from the storage units to steal again, this time at a Bath and Body Works store at 14811 Biscayne Blvd.

James is now facing several charges related to her crimes.
