Homicide investigation underway after man found dead at Coral Springs shopping plaza

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A homicide investigation is underway after police say the body of a man was found outside of a Coral Springs shopping plaza Tuesday morning.

Coral Springs police confirmed to Local 10 News Wednesday afternoon that the victim was identified as 28-year-old Kinolee Gardner, who would’ve turned 29 on July 27.

Sky 10 was above the scene off Wiles Road and 110th Avenue just after 10:45 a.m. Tuesday as yellow evidence markers were seen on the ground near the body.

Gardner’s body was eventually covered with a tarp.

No other details about the incident have been released at this time.
