HIALEAH, Fla. – A 36-year-old man is facing serious charges after police said he molested a disabled woman in Hialeah nearly two months ago.
According to an arrest report from the Hialeah Police Department, Kevin Felipe Valiente is facing one count each of lewd and lascivious molestation on an elderly or disabled adult and lewd and lascivious exhibition of an elderly or disabled adult.

Hialeah police said the 35-year-old woman suffers from an illness and uses a wheelchair.
Authorities said on June 15, the woman stated that around midnight on May 25, Valiente entered her room at a home near the 3500 block of East Eighth Lane while she was asleep and woke her up to ask “if she’s ever had sex before.”
Police said the woman and Valiente know each other.
The victim told Valiente “no” and that the conversation was making her uncomfortable, according to the report.
Shortly after, the victim told detectives that Valiente pulled his pants down and exposed himself to her while asking “if she’s ever seen a penis before,” according to police.
“The victim replied no while covering her eyes, telling him (Valiente) to leave the room,” an officer wrote.
The victim said while she was lying in her bed, Valiente, while naked from the waist down, laid on top of her and touched her breasts with both of his hands, the report stated.
Investigators said the victim then pushed Valiente off of him using her right hand which made him leave the room.
According to police, Valiente returned to the victim’s room later in the night and “repeated the same offenses” on her.
The victim confirmed there was no penetration at any time, detectives said.
Police said after conducting a records check on Valiente Tuesday, they discovered he was already in custody at the Metro West Detention Center for a battery charge that occurred in May.
As of Wednesday, he is being held at the MWDC, where his bond has not yet been determined.
