MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A Miami-Dade man is accused of engaging in sexual activity with a dog prior to his wife deciding to leave him, authorities confirmed Monday.

Police said Jordan Stefan Cristancho, 34, and the victim met in June 2023 and were married for about eight months.

According to his arrest report, Cristancho’s wife “ended the marriage” on June 9 because Cristancho told her he had not been sexually satisfied with her during their marriage.

The report stated that approximately four months before their relationship ended, Cristancho used his wife’s dog for “sexual gratification” purposes, which he disclosed to her during a recent argument via text message.

Police said the victim then received text messages from Cristancho on June 14, pleading with her not to end their relationship.

“The victim told the defendant to stop contacting her and she blocked the defendant’s telephone number and his social media accounts,” the responding officer wrote. “From then, the defendant created multiple social media accounts to contact the victim, harassing her.”

Miami-Dade police said Cristancho was taken into custody Friday and transported to the department’s Midwest district station for questioning.

Cristancho’s arrest report states that he made a confession, but it was fully redacted in the publicly released report.

Jail records show Cristancho is facing one count each of engaging in sexual conduct with animals, aggravated stalking, harassing or cyberstalking and threating or harassing through phone calls.

Cristancho did not appear on the Miami-Dade corrections’ inmate search as of Monday afternoon.
