Woman, 39, dies after shooting in Homestead

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers identified the 39-year-old woman killed on Thursday night in Homestead as Eulalia Gonzalez Martin De Osorio.

Crime Stoppers used Instagram to distribute a flyer reporting Gonzalez was killed at about 7:40 p.m., in the area of Northwest 11 Street and Sixth Avenue, also known as Roberts Road.

Homestead police officers responded to a shooting, and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel used a helicopter to rush Martin De Osorio to the Jackson South Medical Center where a doctor pronounced her dead.

According to Detective Angel Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police Department, Miami-Dade homicide detectives assumed the investigation.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477. There is a reward of up to $5,000 for information resulting in an arrest.
