HOMESTEAD, Fla. – A woman died after a shooting on Friday night in Homestead.
Police officers and fire rescue personnel responded to a shooting near Roberts Road and Northwest 11 Street and found the woman injured.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel used a helicopter to airlift the woman to Jackson South Medical Center where a doctor pronounced her dead.
According to Detective Angel Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police Department, homicide detectives were investigating the murder.
