MIAMI – The second annual Mega Adoption Florida events by Petco Love and the Humane Society to waive adoption fees are from Friday to Sunday. Most pets are spayed or neutered and have vaccinations.
These are the locations in Miami-Dade and Broward counties:
There are two locations with dogs and cats in Miami-Dade. The county’s main Animal Services shelter, at 3599 NW 79 Ave., in Doral, and the Petco store, at 6200 S. Dixie Highway, in South Miami.
There are four locations with cats: 12014 SW 88 St., near Kendall; 18579 S. Dixie Highway, in Cutler Bay; 2565 NE 10 Court, in Homestead; and 10610 NW 19 St., in Doral.
Broward County has three locations. Animal Care is participating from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., until Sunday, at 2400 SW 42 St., near Dania Beach. The Petco store, at 1978 S. University Drive, in Davie, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday.
Only cats will be available at Cats Exclusive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Friday and Saturday, at 6350 W. Atlantic Boulevard, in Margate.
