A 68-year-old man from Niceville, Florida, appeared in federal court on Thursday in Pensacola accused of sharing secrets he had access to while working for the U.S. Air Force.
A federal grand jury indicted Paul J. Freeman charging him with nine counts of unauthorized possession and transmission of classified national defense information.

According to the indictment, U.S. Air Force investigators and FBI agents found Freeman revealed secrets about aircraft and weapons between November 2020 and March 2021.
Freeman is set to appear in court for a detention hearing at 1 p.m., on July 1, at the U.S. Courthouse in Pensacola before U.S. Magistrate Judge Zachary Bolitho. He faces up to 10 years in prison on each count if convicted.
