Search continues for gunman following double shooting in Miramar

MIRAMAR, Fla. – A flurry of police officers converged on a warehouse district in Miramar minutes after two people were hit by gunfire.

Most of the activity was in front of Coaster Furniture, located at 10700 Enterprise Way, on Tuesday.

That’s where a witness told Local 10 News’ Terrell Forney they heard several gunshots and saw the person who pulled the trigger.

Detectives have since confirmed a description of the shooter, that the mask-wearing gunman was wearing dark pants, sneakers and sunglasses along with an orange shirt and was believed to be at least six feet tall.

A section of the Miramar Commerce Park was placed on lockdown Tuesday for several hours after the shooting

K-9′s were brought in to help sniff out the direction where the shooter fled, but cops were not able to take anyone into custody.

Sky 10 was over the scene as the two shooting victims were wheeled away and rushed to a nearby hospital. At last check, one of them remained listed in critical condition.

A man who was working nearby told Local 10 News that at least one of the victims was standing in line at an outside food truck when they were hit.
