Police: Man stabbed throughout body in Opa-locka

OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – A man was injured in a stabbing incident that occurred Monday in Opa-locka, the city confirmed in a press release Tuesday morning.

According to the release, Opa-locka police were called to 3125 Northwest 132nd Terrace in reference to a stabbing. Police arrived and found a man who was stabbed multiple times in his body, including in the head and legs, it states.

Miami-Dade Fire-Rescue personnel arrived to treat the man’s injuries and took him to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital for immediate care, the release states.

Detectives at the Opa-locka Police Department are investigating the incident, but the victim has been uncooperative, according to the press release.

Therefore, the circumstances surrounding the stabbing are currently unknown.
