FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale police are investigating after a body was discovered floating in the water at a park Tuesday morning.
Sky 10 was above George English Park, near 1100 Bayview Drive, just after 10 a.m. as the body was still in the water.

Officers were seen blocking off the area.
Fort Lauderdale police spokeswoman Casey Liening confirmed that officers were called about the body in the water at 9:47 a.m.
She said the police department’s Dive Team is responding to recover the body “and a death investigation will be initiated to determine the circumstances.”
No other details were immediately released.
