MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Rapper, singer and songwriter Travis Scott was arrested early Thursday morning in Miami Beach.

According to jail records, Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at 4:35 a.m.
He faces charges of trespassing after a warning and disorderly intoxication.
According to his arrest report, Scott, 33, was taken into custody at 1:17 a.m. at the Miami Beach Marina after a disturbance was reported onboard a yacht at Dock D.
Miami Beach police said the complainant told a 911 dispatcher that there were three people fighting onboard the yacht.
When officers arrived, they said they found Scott standing by the dock, yelling at people who were still onboard the yacht.
Police said officers asked Scott to sit down, and he complied but then continuously stood back up, disregarding the officers’ commands.
According to the report, officers smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Scott’s breath.
Police said officers then spoke with the complainant who said he did not want to press charges, but just wanted Scott off the yacht.
A sergeant at the scene then told Scott that he needed to leave the dock or he would be arrested, authorities said.
According to the report, Scott began walking away to the boardwalk, but then kept walking backwards, yelling obscenities at the occupants on the yacht.
When he approached the vehicle that was waiting for him, he ordered one of his security guards out of the vehicle and told officers, “If he gets in the vehicle he’s gonna catch a fade” – slang for fighting, the report stated.
According to the report, Scott left the area but returned about five minutes later and began walking back toward the yacht.
Police said Scott disregarded officers’ commands to not go back to the yacht.
“Once the defendant began speaking to Sergeant Lemus, the defendant began yelling once again becoming erratic disturbing the peace of the occupants of the marina and nearby residential buildings causing a public disturbance,” the report stated. “The defendant also disregarded officers(’) warnings to not return to the Miami Beach Marina.”
Police said Scott was then taken into custody and admitted that he had been drinking alcohol, saying “It’s Miami.”
Scott submitted a $650 bond and was released from jail hours later.
He took to X, formerly Twitter, after bonding out and simply wrote “Lol.”

He later posted on X, “6 days to circus Maximus tour. For the record I’m going. Ham.”
Scott wasted no time in featuring a mugshot on a t-shirt available for sale on his website. The shirt, labeled “Free The Rage Tee,” is priced at $35 each.
He also posted his mugshot on his Instagram story, edited to show him wearing sunglasses and wearing headphones.
Scott’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, later released a statement saying, “Mr. Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding . There was absolutely no physical altercation involved, and we thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution.”
