Boil-water order active for Miami-Dade’s Hialeah Heights neighborhood

HIALEAH, Fla. – A boil-water order was active on Saturday for Miami-Dade County’s Hialeah Heights neighborhood. City officials issued the order on Friday.

Hialeah’s public works employees asked residents to boil water before they use it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing their teeth, or washing dishes.

The order will be in effect until bacteriological testing shows the water is safe in the area north of West 116 Street, south of 84 Street, east of Interstate 75, and west of 44 Avenue.
